An alert was issued by the Alexandria Police Department as the seek the public's assistance in locating 47-year-old Edith Walker, who was reported missing earlier this week and could be in danger.
Walker was last seen around 8:30 a.m. in the 1100 block of East Taylor Run Parkway on Wednesday, Oct. 4.
She was described as being 5-foot-2, weighing around 130 pounds with black hair and brown eyes. Officials said that Walker's "disappearance is believed to pose a credible threat to her health and safety."
Anyone with information regarding Walker or her whereabouts has been asked to contact the department by calling 911 or detectives at (703) 746-4444.
